Today, when I was cleaning up a bit, Bowie found a box.
It was a glorious box! It was easy to climb in and out of and had an open front so he could still see what went on in the room.
Then, Ziggy got a look at the box and she wanted it for herself! Bowie defended the box from Ziggy with all of his might!
But Ziggy is a clever cat and she came up with a plan. She went and found a box of her own.
When Bowie saw this, he became jealous! He had to check out Ziggy's new box.
Ziggy took this as a chance to take Bowie's box for herself!
Once Bowie realized that Ziggy's box was too small for him, he tried to sneak back and get his box back.
But Ziggy wasn't giving it up that easily!
It was an epic battle and Ziggy had won! She was very pleased with herself and her box! That is until Bowie went on the bed and Ziggy realized that is a much more comfortable place to sleep.
What is it that makes boxes so fascinating to cats? My cat Avalon does exactely the same thing. If you don't know Avalon just yet, he's the star of his own online cat cartoon at http://avalon-lion.blogspot.com. He also acts in movies and music videos once in a while. Warmest wishes.
